I'm not looking to do anything except pay cash and walk away and never bother the seller again.
I may not be in the business, but I am not the typical "homeowner"
I am merely stating what someone wrote to me in response to one of my threads, and I was questioning whether it was reasonable.
If it is not the "norm" to ask for serial numbers, then I wont. This is the only way for me to find out, though.
