The oil pan is an expensive fix. One of Fords better ideas ! On a 7.3 you have to pull the engine from the truck to do the pan , which makes it labor intense. Sand it smooth and JB weld it and coat it down with Fluid film . Have seen lots of these. The trans from ford should also come with a 3 yr 100k warranty as long as you also replaced the cooler too.Which adds to the price but for the warranty it makes it worth it.
