Keep the truck you have and enjoy having smaller bills with more money in your pocket.

New used truck=

Sales tax
More Insurance
More property tax
More Registration due to higher GVW
More depreciation
You would now have a opportunity cost since you spent money(what could have you done with the money if u didn't spend the money)

If your truck does the job (u never said it didn't) then keep it. Its not smart to buy a $25k truck to get a few MPG more. I've done the math over and over again, and a diesel is never worth it for average driving with a little work. And towing a couple lawn mowers is not considered heavy duty towing.

If have a bigger truck and a diesel was worth it I would've bought one already. I have the money to buy a new diesel but i won't cause its not worth it.
