If you are worried about the ride I would make sure I put a suspension seat on it or get a Ferris with the shocks on it. Riding vrs. standing just puts the pressure on different parts of your body. Get a machine you can use for most or all of the lawns you mow. A ZTR will weigh about 1100 pounds,plus your weight. If the ground gets soft they will rut. As far as price they do cost more than a WB.
