STC48V-22FS 48" Velocity Plus™ Cutter Deck, 22hp Kawasaki air-cooled engine
STC48V-25CV 48" Velocity Plus™ Cutter Deck, 25hp Kohler air-cooled engine
STC48V-26BS 48" Velocity Plus™ Cutter Deck, 26hp Briggs & Stratton ELS air-cooled engine
The "SS" pacgage gets you the nice suspension seat also . .
P.S. Have a friend that has the Kawasaki 22 & he says it has plenty enough power & sips gas . . .
My dealer told me I would not be able to tell a difference really between all 3 of those engines, except maybe the Kohler because it is a better engine than the others according to the dealer. I definitely want to get a Velocity deck and other than that the seat is not the most important thing and the SS package just adds some more convenient features but overall I can get by with what is standard, considering I am upgrading from a walk-behind
Not exactly sure I am looking into buying new, my first idea would be to try to find a good deal on a recently used one.
