I am having an issue with a lawn. In spots, the blades themselves have become quite thin. The size and texture I can only describe as the silk that is in a cob of corn before it's shucked.
It compresses flaat and hard when walked on and doesn't spring back for a long time. I notice that these spots occur in areas right under where the sprinkler usually is. I was thinking that it might be underwatering, but that would be counter intuitive that the spots that get the most water would be the spots where this occurs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
