We try not to work on Any MAJOR holidays simply put.
X-mas is iffy... If it snows we're working!

Also if we are behind on mowing we will work... we worked on labor day
Out of 19+ Years i have had maybe 5 question my jugement on coming on a holiday...
If it rains for an excessive amount of days i have no choice but to cut on a holiday!

Especially if it is sunny and dry! Its not very professional and i know it but i have even told a couple of my customers off, after they asked me why i was at their house.
I know its not really professional

Now if they look like they are busy/ having a party we skip them... Lol i do remember once i cut a lawn while my customer was on the deck eating dinner... Best way to crash a party.. Gained 5 customers and got a free plate!
