i have used all the standers, and overall the toro has been the best priced, best cut, best handling, best comfort overall.
the john deere quik trak has the best cut, but is alittle heavy, greatdane, gravely, everride are all the same, hold hills pretty darn good and cuts great, but clumps like crazy in the spring and wet conditions, wrights can climb a mountain, cut wasn't that great and left stringer some times, alittle pricey for a mower that can't cut great. scag was a great cut, great ride, controls alittle wierd compared to others but ok, gas tank could be bigger, for the horsepower thay use, and a alittle pricey, but you get what you paid for.
i love my toro grandstand 52''/23hp
1st scag
2nd toro
3rd wright
4th john deere
5th the great dane
go for the scag or toro scag is better overall but toro is alittle cheaper both great mowers
