I had a single axle dump that weighed 1200lbs and could hold 2ton but I had it over that many many times. Usually 3-3.5 ton. The truck did it but it didnt like it at all struggle on hills and as time went on it struggled more and more. I brought a 3/4ton truck and man what a would of a difference. Just my 2cents.......
