What I mean when I say raise it up, would you raise it 1"+ to get the clippings smaller, then the second pass lower it to chop up the lower bit of grass
I actually cut it on the height i want the lawn at on the first cut, say 3.5 inches, then on the double cut i will raise it up to 3.75-4 inches. when you raise it up on the second cut it helps spread the grass out more.
