Is it possible that the pick up came up out of the lower part of the tank and was hung up higher or is it maybe too short from factory to use all the fuel in the tank. I haven't looked either. I hope they changed the material of the tube inside the tank. They used to use a clear tubing with a weighted pickup at the end that has a mesh screen on it. The clear tubing would dry rot and start to crack and break off. Not a huge deal its just a matter of replacing the tubing but aggravating none the less.
