With modern 5/8~3/4 meters (the loss curve below is from a Badger 5/8~3/4 meter) there isn't any advantage gained by a switch to a one-inch meter, when there's a long run of copper upstream. The copper is the limiting factor, especially if you are going to pay attention to water velocity.
