I killed one rabbit last spring (2011) thats all it took and the rest got the message.
I can't say the same about the starlings that got the cherries this year. I got one starling and the rest laughed at me, but they knew when I had that .22 in hand and flew off.
That's ok, I'll be prepared for them next season
