I used brass as an example but if you have dissimilar metals very far apart on the nobility scale then one will deposit on the other in the presents of an electrolyte. SS is corrosion resistant again many thongs but still susceptible to chloride pitting.

Debris in a pump is always killer.

We still do not know if Muddy did or did not used metal as he changed his position.
