I have looked into it and getting the parts myself. The only problem is finding the parts. The only place that will service Makita gas tools is the Homedepot a ways away and Fastenal. I asked around at a few shops that I deal with and the guys said that they woul be glad to work on it only if they knew where to get the parts from.
