HE (not an old lady, but an old man, and a smart orthopdeic surgeon just about to retire) used to program the CIC himself... and because the back up battery failed sometime back, he's had to do that every time the power has failed, which is at least 5 or 6 times / year.
Nice things about the ESP-M for my older clients, besides the NVM and lithium battery, are the larger display and the contractor default, where if they mess up the programming I just push two buttons and we're back to where I left it.
