Keep cost down as low as possible. A used 48" metro or Viking should work well. Find a crappy $100 21" for spots you can't get in other wise. The handheld blower is fine for weekly maint. But in fall you'll be trying to blow your own sail, so if you can afford it a BP blower would be better. You have extra cash to be made with debris removal, leaves, tree and shrub pruning, mulching,fertilization, heck even weeding gardens if you like that stuff. And the cheapest way to get your business out there are flyers and just walking around neighborhoods close to you and knocking on doors. It will build character and the worse they can say is no!
