Yeah... in the spring we used both motors a lot just because when you're cutting that much grass (74" across) the mower would start to cut weird especially if it was long and wet.. But in the summer when everything is burnt (the point where you know you're just going through the motions) we used one motor. It was a fast machine speed wise! (20MPH NEW) The dual motors were just to compensate for the high speed that it has.
I bought it just because we were using it to cut school baseball diamonds and community parks (Mostly wide open).

Honestly there were days where we got there at 5 and just FLEW though the schools yard with 3 of these machines. Cutting at 17MPH! Cutting at every 4" They dont care about what it looks like. Follow the patterns til you're done.
