Goodness no. That translates to a little over 1/2 lb of N per 1000. To put down 3 lb of N per 1000, that would be around 10 lb of ammonium sulfate and 5 lb of potassium nitrate. That rate probably will kill the grass, no matter how much water is used to apply it. I am doing low rate feedings every 30 to 45 days. I am not trying to apply the entire yearly requirement in one application.
