Does the clunk come when the drive train is under load and you let off the gas guick, and is the rear pinion seal leaking on the rear diff?

Could be bad pinion bearings.
when im reversing and turning at the same time is when it goes clunkclunkclunk.
no leaks on the rear diff either.
the clunk is coming from the front driver side and sometimes i can feel it at my feet and is driving me absolutely nuts. some days its bad, and other days you dont even hear it. im just sick of waiting for the noise to happen the most. if it did it every single time i wouldnt be so annoyed because i know it would be coming.
