I had a gravely, that had some weird laminated lock nuts, on the wheel hubs. Hard to know if they had the required 300 ft-lbs of torque, necessary. Anyway, nut would get loose, key would get loose, tire would skid. Would have to rebuild the motor, cause the armature was f'd up,by the wallered out key. Best day of my life was when I sold that gravely, to a lawn mower jockey, at an auction. Didn't feel the least bit guilty!
