So we use a trimmer to make the line and a simple edger to cut down to the correct depth. Then you flood the edge and simply push the line down into place using the anchors to hold it down. i have a mechanical asphalt edge cutting attachment for a backhoe/excavator that might work well for making the cuts for small applications such as these.
