Hey thanks for the reply... The best thing you can do for now is to increase the watering and fertilization to affected areas.
if you are going to treat, do it in late spring to early summer when the females ares emerging from the cysts. I will find out when the eggs usually hatch and get back to you on that because that would also be a good time to treat. also make sure to water deep before treating. Keep in mind the most success with chemicals has only been a 50% kill and that was probably with some serious insecticide not labeled for residential use. Most importantly is not to transfer infested soil to places that aren't infested. I believe stick edgers and core aerators are some of the biggest culprits of this.
