a material specific blade will outlast any general blade. out granite blades run roughly $350 but the will last 8/1 over the cheap stone blades. thats dry cutting the majority of the time. the higher end blades do last longer but there is never a huge cost savings unless you treat the blade very nicely. the guy making the cuts can wear out a blade fast if not cutting properly.
