I believe the main problem is getting a hold of the parts to be separated.
You might try a Auto Body repair company that has a hydraulic press for straighting Body Parts. But the problem is breaking the Cast aluminum casing of the Gear Drive. Therefore it might be wiser to take the Gear drive apart and hook directly to the Crank shaft with the Hydraulic press. BTW A Body Shops should have a Frame straighting Machine that can be hooked to the Engine and the Gear Drive Crank Shaft.
