If you have identified potential clients that you have observed could use a change or use your services YES try for next year. You probably will not sell much but the excersice will do 2 things.
1. Get infront of clients
2. You will be creating proposals for these clients that in the spring you can dust off and reconnect with those clients and the work is already done which will free up time to do other proposals in the spring.
I am not a large irrigation contractor, however after blowouts this season I have about 120 proposals to do before thanksgiving for issues I found during blowouts. Why wait until spring. If I can get money down now I can schedule now and next spring will be much better.
Remember never stop selling ever!!!!
