What materials did you use to make truck side boards on stock bed or bump?
Just bought EZ Dumper for my truck. Was thinkin all night what materials to use for side boards. My current boards are are 2X12 with 2X10 on top with 2X2 stakes for bed pockets with carriage bolts for fastners. The insert has 2X4 pockets (4 on each side). I want at least 2' high. Don't wanna spend a fortune but also don't want it to look cheap/cheesy. I was thinkin 2X4's & plywood, but I like the look of slats, like 1X6 instead of plywood but may be a bit more money.
Post what materials you used...
Fastners (carriage bolts, lag bolts, deck screws, etc)
Dimension (hight & length), add if it includes cab protection ( my EZ Dumper does not have)
Post pic or post link to a thread with what page your pic is posted
Edit/title correction...stock bed or dump. (Not bump) lol!
