HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL...
I've spent a couple of hours cleaning, peeling and chopping parsnips, rutabagas, carrots, turnips, other root veggies and butternut squash to roast in the oven tomorrow with some garlic and olive oil to make a side dish.
Also peeled, boiled and smashed 10 lbs. of potatoes. Other folks will be handling the turkey, stuffing, cornbread, pies, etc, etc.
This will be my grandson Mason's first Thanksgiving. I'm excited.
