I had the same problem with a 40xt I had...ended up to be a bad design on the lift solenoid where the electric wire ran into it...could get water in it easily and corrode the connection. Case came out with an updated version. They aren't that expensive and are easy to install.
I think there is one for the tilt and one for the lift.
