It's always a good idea to fix any and every problem you can before the start of the next season. Shop times around me are usually 6 to 8 weeks backed up in the spring.. Usually less if they know you make a living out of it they will put you up the front of the line

That's a great idea. Around here my mowers are usually parked January & February. Usually start on spring cleanup the first part of March so they don't sit too long.
