Bingo.....you got it....at least there is a work around for that problem..shimming the rockers.
The engines I really hate are the ones butchered by dimwit mechanics..
The guys that use angle grinders to clean the block...dishing the aluminum so bad that the headgaskets never seal...and of course...the guys that think that just because their impact gun has a torque rating...it can be used as. TorqueWrench..

.stripping or weakening the threads.
Nothing worse than going for the final torque on the head...and feeling the bolt go soft...
