When it comes to promotional products, the question to ask yourself, or impartial people you have access to, is "If this showed up on your door knob, will you wear or keep it?". The rubber bracelets have come to be associated with a meaningful cause, which a cold call from a landscaping company doesn't necessarily connote, so I'm not sure how it would get any intended use or have any usable staying power. For me, and no offense intended, it would probably go in the trash.
