With lawn mowing I'm not sure there is much that separates most. As in if you took the pool of people on here that do good work. What separates them from each other? Probably not much besides the fact one may have a more established business than the other. But I do agree with residentials you need to make them feel good about themselves. Also doing "differently" or "separating" yourself from the competition probably has nothing to do with the actual work involved. I'm not saying well laid stripes don't help win work but if they don't know who you or your business are then stripes aren't goin to land more business.
Business processes and customers feeling appreciated can go a long way to help getting good clients.
What am I doing to separate myself.......still trying to figure that out. But I don't think it will be the actual work, in a direct sense, that does that.
