I didn't go back and reread the OP's wording, so I'll take your word for it...
that is to say I missed that scheduling thing... If we did that with cool-season grasses we'd also expect problems...
Now that I know that clay's texture(platelets) has nothing to do with water infiltration, percolation, or drainage
