Seems my part of the world lost on this. I did some research the other night and the price of propane differs wildly from place to place. The prices I was seeing here was around 2.60 a gal to 2.80 a gal and of course exmark states you use 1.36 gallons of propane for every gallon of gas. So at those numbers its not worth it for us. Now Hess's numbers would make economic sense. Instead were looking into getting some new mowers with EFI motors and the Lazer X models have a GOV on them that regulates the rpms and increases and decreases as needed. The exmark post stated as good as 41% fuel savings so I figure 30% is a safe bet and I think I am going to pull the trigger.
