Advertising - select demographics and coupon packets
I plan to do some advertising his spring with postcards, rather than mailing with EDDM I was planning to use a demographic mailing list to my target market. I have not done this before but it seems I would have a better ROI since they are only going to targeted homes, plus in my area it works out better cost wise as well. Any one have experience with targeted mailing vs EDDM? Which was better for you?
My other new avenue of marketing may be with those coupon packets that we all get in the mail every month. If you do not get the them are a packet full of envelope size advertising from all sorts of local companies. With this type of advertising I can get my info out to 10,000 addresses for about $300 if I commit to doing it 3 times ($900) or just one time is about $450. Has anyone does this before?
What do you guys think of either plan?
