I also have never seen a larger landscaping firm use a split shaft machine. There's nothing wrong with running them just not my preference. I actually have an FS56 engine running a tiller head made for a yard boss tiller. It works great for mixing soil with compost and fluffing old mulch.
Last time I checked its possible to own more than one power head, I actually have 2. I can change out attachments faster than you can grab the next single unit off your rack.
