I'm surprised there aren't more mesh sides, at least 2ft high and tool boxes on the tongues and ladder racks. My trailers also get guards arounds the tail lights. I also put gorilla lifts on. Usually only needed one per trailer but it sure beats lifting that gate 20 times a day or worse when you catch your kneecap on the up swing. I also recommend a spare if you can fit it, sucks when it blows and your stuck far from help.
Turbo oil filled hubs also help ensure your bearings are lubed on your non braked axles. A quick glance and good to go.
