Update. Started out the day working good with the new semi-waterproof case. Went to lunch and left it sitting in the front seat. Back to work and it wouldn't work so I figured it was a moisture thing. Took the bottom plate off and can tell there is moisture inside so I let it air out while changing a head or something. Put back together and back to working and good for rest of day. When I got home at 8:30 I took off the bottom and set it in front of the air cleaner that blows a gentle breeze. Figure that will dry it out good.
As for the new semi-waterproof case I will not tell where I purchased it. Can't give away all my secrets.
This weekend you might put the remote in a bag of rice to wick all the moisture out.
I put a few silica bags in my transmitter cases to help keep the electronic components dry.
