You stated that your exhaust was clean. I run a rich mix of oil and gas in my equipment which clogs the exhaust screen after a while. This starts off as a slight bogg from time to time under full throttle and gets worse. I usually remove the screen and clean out the muffler. Try removing the screen and running it to see if there is any difference, I have also removed the muffler and run mine to be sure. The exhaust on that model may also have baffles in it which could be clogging. The coil issues are usually intermittent and show up when the unit gets hot and can go in and out from running fine to loosing power. Once the unit would cool down it would run fine again, thus leaning toward a coil issue.I hope this helps.
