I can't see the pic but all those varieties except hydrangea will do well in the afternoon sun. The more sun the nicer loropetalums look and encores need sun to bloom. The biggest mistake I see is people not using quality topsoil and not breaking up the root ball if its tight. It makes a big difference.
I have to disagree on the hydrangeas. We're talking about paniculata, not macrophylla, arborescens, or quercifolia.
