They don't keep up on updates. They may have excellent mechanics. I shouldn't have berated them without knowing them, but the better dealers tend to keep up with service updates and service bulletins.
Rarely does a company put out a new design and not experience "growing"
pains. The updates target those problem areas, thus keeping customers
happy (hopefully)
