OP,
Hit those cocoons now with some bifenethrin before the heat is high.
You will cease their feeding and they will die within 48 hours of spraying.
The tree will recover and put on new growth.
Thanks for the info. We are slowly cooling off here. Down to 80s now. Ill find this stuff and spray the tree. I do remember the client mentioning it had cocoons on it now.
