I think its safe to assume that the only outcome you could hope to achieve by adding any metal powder or fragments to the engine oil ....would be to destroy the engine...
If perhaps you wanted to destroy an engine to get a replacement under wouldn't be wise to contaminate the engine with iron the majority of the engine components are made from aluminum...
Powdered aluminum would prolly fool even the most seasoned engine technician...
Where as iron powder would stick out like sugar in gasoline....
