I think Redmax made a mistake by marketing their 7500 a 7500. People are fooled into thinking that because it is only 65cc and is a smaller title number than the 8000 series, it is less powerful than the old blowers.
The 7500 is in no way, shape, or form related to the old 7000 and 8000 series. It will torch both of them and make them look like obsolete little toys. Also, the gap between the 7500 and 8500 is non-existent when compared to the difference there was between the 7000 and 8000 series.
The 7500 is just as good if not better than the 8500 for most applications, and the only benefit a person will see from an 8500 is on big piles of leaves, maybe. Other than that, the 7500 is King Kong to the 8500 and all other blowers on the market. That includes Stihl, Shindaiwa, Tanaka, and every other brand out there except for Redmax's identical and orange Husky twin.
