Good for you...

but in reality if the soil has adequate moisture after germination then the heavy dews will likely help keep the soil moist for an extended period of time...
Now that I know that clay's texture(platelets) has nothing to do with water infiltration, percolation, or drainage
,,, I wonder what does...
