I wouldnt say that....college has its place for people wanting to learn business as well as certain other fields of industry. As little as it actually means, the college degree is important to clients and when being hired for a job at a bigger firm.
I am going for a landscape contracting/landscape architecture degree, as it will be beneficial to my family business. My mother has been hand drawing plans since day one, and not being able to give proper visuals, or share pdf files/autocad files with builders has been a setback. I am going to try and fill that problem, without having to hire someone, which has always been a debate.
