Not if they already assembled from the factory. They are there so it won't sway back in forth. And there's no adjustment to them. The only thing that can happen is the bushings can wear out inside the tube where they mount to the deck. But I've only seen that once and it was on a older 3000z. Even then it only swayed 1"
