CENTS MARKETPLACE QUALIFIES TO OFFER PREMIER LACES CONTINUING ED PROGRAM TO LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS
Convention approved to offer prestigious continuing education
program in Columbus, Ohio
CENTS (The Central Environmental Nursery Trade Show) announced today it will offer LACES (Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System) at its 2014 convention through The Ohio State University Nursery Short Course. LACES is a landscape/design continuing education collaborative of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA), Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA), Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB), Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB), and Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF).
The purpose of LACES is to establish, maintain, and enforce standards for evaluating professional development and continuing education programs for landscape architects and related design professionals. CENTS has been approved to offer LACES because of its ability to demonstrate its controls and processes can fully monitor quality and track attendance. LACES provides courses on topics ranging from green roofs and water conservation to professional applications such as CADD, keeping professionals current on trends such as sustainable design, livable communities, and environmental
