"Failure is never an option" Greetings from Houston, Texas.
Like many, long time reader first time poster. I been in the business since I was 14 with my dad, left it thinking I needed a change in pace and then went right back to it in 10' when work started slowing down at my full time job as a GIS Analyst.
I have about 20 or so residential properties and 2 comercial accounts. I get about 6-10 landscape design jobs that range from 600-5000 per year. I am currently starting the year with one, so it looks promising.
I do have help, during the week. As it's not fun, handling 16 properties on a Saturday and afterwork. 3 days on average is what my helper gets right now.
What has worked for me has been Craig's for most of my business, but this year I want to put on at least 30 good accounts so I can dedicate my self entirely to my business, so it can really boom.
